Thorpe Park theme park in England is asking customers to offer up a urine sample so they can use the most pungent smelling urine to be used as the scent of a new attraction.

Park bosses are offering a cash prize of almost $800 to the person who submits the winning sample.

The park wants it to become the signature smell of its new attraction, SAW Alive, which it is billing as the world's most extreme live action horror maze.

The winning sample will be recreated and feature in the attraction which features six traps depicting scenes from the hit Saw horror film franchise.

It will be pumped into the iconic bathroom scene from the first Saw to create a "realistic and truly gut wrenching sensory experience."

The park's entertainment manager says they want the attraction to be as "authentic and terrifying as possible."

She says they needed the public's help "to create the most realistic and unsavory urine odor. We are looking for a sample that will really get the public gagging."
